| MALFROY'S GOLD - 100% PURE BEESWAX CANDLES These handcrafted candles have been made using the finest quality pure beeswax sourced from our beehives in the Blue Mountains & Central Tablelands of NSW. Free from any artificial colours or scents, pure beeswax candles burn cleanly with the sweet scent of Australian honey. We have made this candle with care and respect for your families’ health, an awareness of our fragile environment, and a love for the ‘daughters of light’ who created the wax. Beeswax candles have an incredibly long burn time, and will burn drip free and smokeless in a still environment. Malfroy’s Gold candles do not contain Soy, Paraffin, or any other toxic or environmentally damaging waxes or ingredients. |

| SUSTAINABILITY OF BEESWAX | PILLAR BEESWAX CANDLES | |||||
![]() Bees produce wax for the purpose of constructing honeycomb cells in which they store honey, pollen, and rear their young. Surplus honey and wax are produced during ‘honey flows’, a term used to describe a seasonal abundance of nectar. We harvest the surplus honey, leaving enough for the bees. We then separate the wax from the honey by pressing or extracting the combs. The honey is bottled, and the wax is crafted into beeswax candles. The empty bee box is then given back to the hive, where the bees continue the process anew. |

![]() TAKE CARE Never leave your candle unattended! Even though our candles burn inwards, we strongly recommed that you always use a suitable candleholder and place the candle on a fireproof surface. Don’t burn your candle near anything flammable or move the candle whilst wax is molten. Please keep out of reach of children. We recommend you extinguish your candle with a candle snuffer or spoon to minimise smoking, Please note your candle may develop a bloom (soft white caking appearance -see images above). This is entirely natural and is considered by most to be quite aesthetically pleasing, however it can be removed by gently rubbing with a soft cloth if necessary. Currently only available at Farmer's Markets - please visit WHERE TO BUY for details. See what others think about Malfroy's Gold products: MEDIA - AWARDS - TESTIMONIALS |
